Porsche releases first offical glimpse of the new Panamera

While spy shots have been circulating for some time now, Porsche today released the first glimpse of its highly-anticipated Panamera Gran Turismo on a new Web site, www.porsche.ca/panamera.

The Panamera Online Magazine offers a wide range of information, including videos of disguised prototypes of the next Porsche model line. The online launch campaign is backed by a multi-stage direct mail campaign to select Porsche owners and enthusiasts.

Porsche said it will release the first official press photography of the Panamera later this year. However, worldwide autophiles will have the chance to preview the highly-anticipated four-door in the Panamera Online Magazine. Interested customers can sign up for regular updates on the car.

The Panamera Gran Turismo, designed and developed in Weissach and built in Leipzig, Germany, is a true Porsche that will transport four adults without compromise, thanks to a unique space concept and superior driving dynamics – the result of 60 years of sports car expertise and know-how.

The Panamera will make its world debut next spring, with the market launch in fall 2009.
