One of the first unveils at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show was a compact stunner from Audi.
Its A3 sedan concept sounded more like an RS model with its five-cylinder TFSI engine producing approximately 400 horsepower.
Aside from the stellar power-plant fitted, the A3 Concept teased with loads of lightweight carbon fibre parts including 20 inch aluminum and carbon fibre wheels. Aside from killer exterior styling, inside the vehicle it was pure Teutonic bliss. Controlling the 7 speed S Tronic dual clutch transmission were push button controls as found on the current Lamborghini Gallardo. Feeding power to the pavement was Audi’s famed Quattro all wheel drive system.
Audi claims its A3 concept can hit 100 km/hr in 4.1 seconds and has an electronically managed top speed of 250 km/hr.
