Audi S8 offers high end Bang and Olufsen system

Audi is now becoming the Audi-able.

Owners of Audi A8s and S8s are going high end by choosing the 1000-plus watts Bang and Olufsen Advanced Sound System. The system, which includes 14 speakers, is finding its way into every fifth A8 or S8 Audi. At last count, more than 3,000 units of the sound system had found an Audi home.

While the B&O system delivers clean sound, it is complemented by a strong visual presence. The speaker grilles are crafted from anodized aluminum – the same material used to produce the body of the sporty models. And two lens tweeters automatically extend from the dashboard to ensure balanced sound delivery from their precisely aligned horizontal transmission.

Audi is now making the B&O system available to R8 owners. And coming to a dealership near you soon, will be more B&O developed sound systems for other Audi lines.
