In a coup for Honda Motor Company, the 2006 Ridgeline won the covetted North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) Truck of the Year award in Detroit. The Ridgeline was competing in a field populated by the 2006 Ford Explorer and the Nissan Xterra.
The Honda Ridgeline is manufactured in Honda’s Canada’s Aliston, Ontario production facility. The Ridgeline initiated a sweep for Honda who also won accolades with the 2006 Civic, which was named the NAIAS Car of the Year.
